Happy New Year!  Time has flown by so quickly and with the busy holidays, it only sped up more.:-)

We had fun introducing our little one to Santa…and seriously this guy was the best Santa ever (at Downtown Disney, with his own little cabin and helper elves!).

You can see even the baby is puzzling over this…“Hmmm, so YOU’RE the one will bring me presents.”

Then we got a bit inspired and took a few photos with her in a Santa outfit. This one made the Christmas card:

Mandy & Mike – Portrait Session, Richmond, VA

I had a hilariously fun portrait session with Mandy and Mike recently. We decided to meet at Pocahontas State Park with all the beautiful changing leaves. The park is also significant to Mandy and Mike because this is where they got engaged and then married!

Happy Halloween!

One of the fun parts about having a baby is that you can dress them up! I can’t think of a better time to dress up your baby than on Halloween.

One day she’ll be old enough to decide on her own costumes, but for her first Halloween, we got this adorable costume for Penelope:

It took her a little while to appreciate the frog life:

Katie & David – Wedding, Cannon Chapel, University of Richmond & Willow Oaks Country Club, Richmond, VA

Oh I have had fun working with David and Katie. They were married earlier this month at Cannon Chapel at University of Richmond. After the ceremony, they had their reception at Willow Oaks Country Club. There were lots of lovely details and moments and it was hard to choose just a few to share!

Let’s start with the getting ready…(Brides, you can order these fun personalized hangers from Etsy!):Aren’t the flowers gorgeous?!The bride was beautiful as well!:I think this might be my new favorite bridal party group image!Check out the groom’s cake! I had to tease David a little bit because on the viewfinder they had a photo from their engagement session…which was taken with a Nikon camera!;-)Congratulations David and Katie! I wish you both the best and a wonderful and blessed marriage.:-)
