I had a lot of fun with Amber and Shane’s engagement session in Richmond. There was quite a bit of back and forth phone calls and emails deciding whether or not to have the engagement session this past weekend because of the weather. In the end, we decided to just go for it and I am so happy that we did!
Thankfully it rained only a little bit!

I was really excited when Tasha contacted me for her maternity photos. It was really special because Tasha and Aubrey were one of our very, very first wedding clients! We have stayed in contact over the years as Facebook friends and I am so happy that they will be expecting their little boy very soon!
I had some pregnancy envy because Tasha looks fabulous and has had pretty much no morning sickness. (I had morning sickness for the first six months of pregnancy!)

It was a perfect day for Linda and Steve’s March wedding! They had nice weather and a really cool location at The Boathouse Restaurant at Rocketts Landing.
Linda and Steve had some really fun details for their big day. Don’t you love their “guestbook”? It was so cool to see it in real life on canvas:

My favorite part of a wedding is after the ceremony when I get time to capture the newly-married couple!

Happy New Year! Time has flown by so quickly and with the busy holidays, it only sped up more.
We had fun introducing our little one to Santa…and seriously this guy was the best Santa ever (at Downtown Disney, with his own little cabin and helper elves!).
You can see even the baby is puzzling over this…“Hmmm, so YOU’RE the one will bring me presents.”
Then we got a bit inspired and took a few photos with her in a Santa outfit. This one made the Christmas card:
